Program Excellence Fund

The Program Excellence Fund allows us to continue to renovate and replace facilities as needed, as well as to provide resources for program innovation and specialized staff training.

Sandy and Laura Sanborn Scholarship Fund

The Sandy and Laura Sanborn Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance for outstanding young people who would not be able to attend camp without additional financial support. Our scholarship campers bring diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and life experiences to camp - your contributions to the Scholarship Fund help us create a space where everyone, regardless of their background, can experience growth, friendship, and the joy of the great outdoors.

The Scholarship Fund also provides support to lower income students in school districts across Teller County - and statewide - so that they can participate in High Trails Outdoor Education Center programming during the school year.

Greatest Need Fund

Greatest Need donations give us the flexibility to use your thoughtful gifts to address our most compelling concerns, whether it is facility renovation, wildfire mitigation, or additional scholarship funds.

"I donate to celebrate the place that gave me some of the happiest memories of my teenage and early adult years. Camp instilled in me a deep and lifelong appreciation of nature, provided adventures I'll never forget, and gave me four friends who have enriched my world for more than 50 years. I hope my contributions allow future generations of campers to enjoy these same gifts."

Funding the Future

We continue to grow our scholarship funds to ensure that families, schools and clients who need assistance to attend our programs can seek financial support.

We are committed to the continuing evolution of our program offerings to most effectively meet the dynamic goals and expectations of our guests, camp families, and school district partners.

Jane Sanborn always says “I think Sandy was deprived of Lincoln Logs as a child.” As Sandy and Laura’s incredible vision grew over the years, so did the facilities and number of buildings needed to implement the programs offered. We continue to renovate and rebuild cabins and washhouses as well as bring accommodations up to current industry and government standards.
