Our laundry and cleaning staff are crucial to create the best summer camp experience for our resident campers and staff and as such are highly valued. Sanborn Western Camps is a fun, fast-paced, energetic place to work who value efficiency, teamwork and excellence in all we do!

Essential Job Functions​

• Deliver laundry to and from the camps to the onsite laundry facility.
• Wash, dry, and fold camper, staff, health center and kitchen laundry.
• Keep laundry sorted by cabins/units.
• Clean machines and laundry building as needed.
• Clean cabins prior to opening of camp for the summer and at the end of the summer camp season.
• Perform a variety of routine cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing windows and polishing for certain buildings throughout the property.
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs.
• Report any necessary repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: (Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience)

• Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or Holidays as needed
• Successful completion of criminal background check
• Acceptable Driving Record

• Willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment with potential for interruptions
• Strong attention to detail

Compensation:

• Meals on site when kitchen is open
• Full time employees eligible for additional benefits:  Health, Life, Vision, Dental, 403b plan after 5 years of employment, Paid vacation
• Part time/Full Time employees eligible for paid sick time
• $14.45-$15.00/Hr DOE

Physical Requirements of the Position:

• Ability to lift 30 lbs.-50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to push and pull laundry bins
